Internet Sales Representative Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Internet Sales Representative to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Handling heavy inbound and outbound calls;
- Follow-up calls with a commitment to increase customer service satisfaction with each and every customer;
- Experience with Internet Sales is preferred;
- Automotive experience is required;
- Tracks sold vehicles;
- Follows up with appointments and missed appointments;
- Tracks and follows up with hot sheets;
- Works with internet sales leads by contacting customers and setting an appointment for a dealership visit;
- Answers all incoming Sales calls using script;
- Contacts unsold Showroom traffic leads using a script;
- Follows up with all non-appointment incoming sales calls;
- Confirms all pending appointments (sales and service);
- Follows up with aged sales leads;
- Performs other duties assigned by department manager.
Requirements:
- Ability to efficiently enter accurate information into computerized tracking system;
- Excellent verbal and written communication & computer skills;
- Strong attention to detail and sense of URGENCY;
- Preferable knowledge of working Microsoft Word, computer literate/knowledge, data entry skills;
- Demonstrate a professional, enthusiastic, and friendly attitude at the first point of contact with any potential client/customer;
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening;
- High school diploma or equivalent;
- Eligible to work in the U.S;
- Previous experience with the process of the scripts, power tracks, and alternative choices;
- Previous call center experience highly desirable;
- Some weekend and holiday work required;
- Professional appearance and confident phone voice/skills;
- High school diploma or GED required; post secondary education or coursework desired;
- Strong computer and internet skills (multiple platforms);
- An impressive work ethic.
