Our company is looking for a Sales Engineer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and deliver powerful presentations and demos that clearly communicate the uniqueness of the value proposition;
  • Actively contribute to product improvements by informing Product Team on recurring customer inputs;
  • Work with marketing to ensure web copy and literature is accurate;
  • Present technical and business aspects of proposed solutions to a C-Level audience;
  • Proven experience in partnering with sales executives to mutually plan, prepare and execute on strategic deals in complex sales cycles;
  • Create full design proposals comprised of SparkCharge products;
  • Articulate technology and product knowledge to clients and sales team;
  • Travel nationwide to provide guidance in person;
  • Work trade shows as necessary;
  • Identifying, evaluating, and recommending proof of concept opportunities;
  • Conducting Sales Presentations;
  • Be passionate about sales engineering and working with customers;
  • Generate necessary reports and complete administrative duties in a timely fashion;
  • Collaborate with Account Executives in a fast-paced sales environment to identify and uncover customer business goals, needs, and pain points;
  • Conduct proof-of-value projects from start to finish proving how our solutions will solve the customers’ problems.

Requirements:

  • Ability to read situations and people and react accordingly;
  • Avaya Voice and Data Portfolio skills;
  • Software testing and diagnostics;
  • Technical depth to respond to all functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs;
  • BA/BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent;
  • Proven dynamic, enthusiastic presentation skills;
  • Comprehensive knowledge of MS Office software applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook);
  • Ability to forge and maintain strong and lasting relationships;
  • Prior sales or sales engineering experience;
  • Ability to work directly with customers with a strong commitment to their success;
  • Experience with integrating ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, Jira or Remedy with monitoring tools is a strong plus;
  • Pharmaceutical, food, cosmetics, and fine chemical industries;
  • Working knowledge in factory/process automation, mechatronics and controls preferred;
  • Knowledge of basic networking components and concepts;
  • Occasionally stoop, kneel, or crouch.
