Our company is looking for a Senior Transportation Project Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Participates in development of technical proposals;
  • Determines, monitors and reviews costs,operational budgets, schedules and staffing requirements for project teamsusing PM dashboard access;
  • Performs quality control reviews of work developed by others;
  • Provides specialized technical input to studies and design for staff’s specific area of expertise;
  • Stays up to date on regulatory changes and may establish workingrelationships with regulatory officials;
  • Manages multiple projects and participates in corporate initiativesto assist in meeting the company’s goals;
  • Responsible for the review and sealing of projects;
  • Provides technical expertise for studies and design efforts;
  • Supervises the work of other engineers;
  • Approves and signs off on work;
  • Provides estimates for the engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements on large projects;
  • May write and negotiate proposals as project issues arise withclients or reviewing agencies;
  • Leads the preparation and coordination of the projectspecifications with construction documents;
  • Manages client relationships and brings in new clients;
  • Liaises with clients, agencies and others to obtain and determineproject requirements and approvals.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of project management methodologies;
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal;
  • Experience as a Project Manager or Deputy Project Manager for Florida PD&E studies;
  • Ability to work independently 90% of time and in different office spaces;
  • Experience in leading transportation planning projects and other related studies;
  • Exceptional prioritization and project management skills with a strong attention to detail;
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications;
  • Ability to communicate and work with a wide variety of audiences, internal and external, both business and technical;
  • Strong organization skills with the ability to prioritize competing demands;
  • Ability to work in the United States immediately;
  • Roadway design experience or experience working closely with civil designers;
  • Increasing responsibility for interacting with clients, public officials, and the general public;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • PE and/or AICP;
  • PMP Certification preferred.
