The Sourcing Leader directs Sourcing Specialists, ensuring compliance with sourcing procedures and ensuring that all transactions are made in accordance with agreed terms and conditions. Participate in planning reviews and alignment of supply with planning and production teams.

Set action plans for improving lead time, cost reduction and on time delivery.

Review and maintain open sourcing assignments from initial requirement through source-list and contract generation.

Review and make material master setting recommendations for buy items.

Participate in regular financial and inventory reviews with the Supply Chain Manager.

Implement continuous improvement activities within the Supply Chain department.

Comply with SLB and local procedures applicable to the job function.

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or supply chain preferred, and a minimum of four (4) years’ experience in a purchasing or sourcing leadership role.

Continuous process improvement mindset, including experience with Lean / Six Sigma.

Experience sourcing electrical equipment, mechanical systems, packaged equipment, or modular infrastructure components is helpful.
