Supply Chain/ Procurement/ Buyer- Urgent Need

Buyer II (Life Sciences)
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Buyer to join our growing supply chain team. This role is critical in ensuring timely purchase order execution, improving supplier responsiveness, and maintaining accurate ERP data. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes ownership of expediting orders, resolving discrepancies, and minimizing supply chain disruptions.

Expedite orders and coordinate delivery commitments with suppliers

Serve as the primary point of contact for vendor communication and follow‑ups

Maintain accurate, real‑time data in the ERP system

Partner with internal teams to mitigate supply risks and support production needs

3+ years of experience in purchasing or procurement (buyer‑level role)

Demonstrated success resolving past‑due orders and driving supplier accountability

Proven ability to expedite orders and manage supplier performance

Experience in life sciences, medical devices, or medical instruments industries

Familiarity with ERP systems (IFS preferred)

Strong understanding of supply chain operations and procurement workflows

4 Buyers, 3 Senior Buyers, and cross‑trained planners

This is a Contract position based out of San Diego, CA.
