Conduct routine and sophisticated clinical lab tests—including chemistry, hematology, immunology, and other analyses—adhering strictly to established protocols.
Evaluate test results for accuracy, troubleshoot discrepancies, and carry out preventative maintenance and calibrations on laboratory equipment.
Support specimen collection and prepare samples for testing as necessary.
Maintain thorough documentation of all laboratory procedures, train new team members or students, and uphold laboratory quality standards.
Ensure a tidy, safe work environment while complying with regulatory and accreditation standards.
Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an allied health degree alongside ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) obtained within one year of employment.
