Human Resources Generalist, Payroll and Recruitment

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to support day-to-day HR operations and provide administrative support to leadership. The position offers flexibility and may be structured as a 30-hour-per-week role based on the selected candidate's preferences.

Process payroll in coordination with an external payroll provider, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
Support the full recruitment lifecycle, including posting positions, screening candidates, coordinating interviews, conducting reference and background checks, and assisting with hiring decisions.
Coordinate new hire onboarding, orientation, and completion of employment documentation.
Maintain accurate employee records, HR files, and personnel documentation while ensuring confidentiality.
Assist with employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and wellness activities.
Maintain HR policies, procedures, and process documentation.
Respond to employee questions regarding HR policies, benefits, and payroll.
Assist leadership with a variety of administrative and HR-related projects.
Stay current on HR best practices, employment regulations, and compliance requirements.
Perform other administrative and human resources duties as assigned.
2+ years of experience in Human Resources, Office Administration, or a related administrative support role.

• Working knowledge of payroll processes and HR administration.
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, spreadsheet management, and basic data analysis.
• Experience with HRIS or payroll systems is a plus.

Flexible schedule with the potential for a 30-hour workweek.
