If you are looking to take your administrative skills to the next level, this could be the opportunity for you.What You'll DoAssisting with drafting, formatting and proofreading of legal documents, such as briefs and pleadings, as well as contractsCreate, organize and maintain electronic and hard copy filesIntake, organization, and management of large volumes of documentsSchedule appointments, meetings, and court hearings for attorneysHandle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, phone calls, and mailPrepare memoranda and engagement letters to open new mattersCourt Filings, including Federal, State and LocalCalendaring and monitoring critical dates and deadlinesCreate accounting bills and expense reports as neededProvide other clerical support as neededWhat We're Looking ForAssociate's Degree preferred or minimum 5+ years of experience as a legal assistant, preferably in bankruptcyExperience with commercial litigationProficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and ExcelWorking knowledge of ProLaw, iManage or similar document management system a plusExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAccurate typing speed of 65+ wpmAbility to use discretion and handle confidential informationHighly organized, detail oriented, and able to multitask in a deadline-driven environmentAbility to work well with othersSalary range: $Actual compensation may vary based on experience and other job-related factors as permitted by law.Let Us Introduce Ourselves Lippes Mathias is one of the nation's 200 largest law firms, with 400 professionals across 17 offices nationwide, including 230 attorneys.
