Job Description As a Security Officer Part Time Credential Authentication in Indianapolis, IN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As a Screener in a logistics and distribution location, you will support access screening activities, monitor entry points, and help maintain a secure environment for employees, visitors, and operations. You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. Position Type: Part Time

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.

Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with site access-control procedures and applicable requirements.

Inspect packages, freight, and personal property as directed by site procedures; report prohibited items, irregularities, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions taken.

Conduct regular and random patrols of screening areas, loading zones, facility access points, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.

Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Loss prevention experience is preferred.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
