Salary: $60,000-$85,000 | Full-Time | On-Site
A growing distribution and e?commerce company in Farmingdale, NY is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to support daily accounting operations. This is a full?time, in?office role requiring strong organizational skills, accuracy, and the ability to manage multiple financial tasks in a fast?paced environment.
Position Overview
The Bookkeeper will handle day?to?day accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance. Experience with QuickBooks is a strong plus. The ideal candidate is detail?oriented, reliable, and comfortable working independently as well as with management.
Key Responsibilities

Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
Process vendor invoices, customer payments, and credit memos
Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
Maintain general ledger accuracy and assist with month?end close
Prepare financial reports and summaries as needed
Monitor and track inventory?related financial data (training provided if needed)
Assist with payroll preparation and related documentation
Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems
Communicate with vendors, customers, and internal departments regarding billing or payment issues
Support management with ad hoc accounting tasks
Required Skills & Qualifications
Prior bookkeeping experience (distribution, retail, or product?based business experience is helpful)
QuickBooks experience strongly preferred
Strong proficiency in Excel and general computer skills
Ability to read, analyze, and reconcile financial data
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Compensation & Schedule

• $60,000-$85,000, depending on experience
• Full-time, in-office position
• Monday-Friday schedule
