As the Systems Engineer you will play a critical role in the development, integration, and testing of this advanced system.Execute the system level integration and testing to ensure the weapon system meets its performance, safety, and functional objectives.• Offer guidance to a Systems Engineering team, covering the entire Systems Engineering lifecycle processes, from architecture and requirements development to weapons system operations and integration.• Develop strong working relationships with the larger systems team, national team members, and customers to ensure successful product delivery• Utilize your excellent interpersonal skills to assist with the resolution of programmatic and technical issues across the program, identify risks and appropriate mitigation plans• Collaborate with government and customerrepresentatives to support critical daily space-based operations and distributed multi-element deliveries and activities.• Some travel may be required.Basic Qualifications:• Experience with the readiness/execution of system level tests• Experience integrating or troubleshooting electrical or hardware-software systems• System Level Test planning and execution experience with an understanding of all the interdependencies• Eligibility to obtain and maintain a DoD secret clearanceDesired Skills:• Experience with the execution of weapon systems flight test• Experience integrating or troubleshooting electrical or hardware-software systems• Experience interfacing with Range Safety and Customer Counterparts • Active or current Secret clearanceSecurity Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
