Paramedic Ambulance--Full-Time

Seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Emergency Medicine Physician for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity in Pennsylvania. This is a night-shift-focused role offering a flexible schedule, strong clinical support, and all travel and lodging expenses covered.

Position Highlights:

Ongoing coverage beginning October 2026

Night shifts only with 9-hour shifts and 1-hour overlap for provider transition

Flexible scheduling with options for 5 days on/5 days off or a minimum of 2-3 shifts per week

Emergency Department volume of approximately 31,000 annual visits

Average overnight patient arrival rate of 1-2 patients per hour

Fully staffed nursing support with APP coverage until 4:00 AM

No residents and no trauma designation

All travel and lodging expenses covered

Requirements:

ABEM/AOBEM Board Certified or Board Eligible

Active Pennsylvania medical license

Active DEA registration

ACLS, ATLS, and PALS certifications (candidates willing to obtain may be considered)

Emergency Medicine residency training preferred, or at least 5 years of full-time Emergency Medicine experience

Must demonstrate treatment of at least 1,000 ED cases within the past 2 years

Must be available for night shifts only

Minimum availability of 2-3 consecutive shifts per scheduling block
