Atrium is seeking on behalf of our client a Manager of Learning & Development based in Plainview, New York .

The Manager of Learning & Development will lead the design and execution of a global learning strategy that aligns with organizational goals. This role will oversee the development of onboarding, leadership, and upskilling programs while leveraging innovative technologies to enhance learning experiences. The position requires strong collaboration with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to drive talent development and organizational growth. Develop and execute a global Learning & Development (L&D) strategy aligned with enterprise goals, encompassing onboarding, leadership development, management training, and employee upskilling.

Lead the assessment, design, and delivery of Talent and L&D programs focused on succession planning, leadership development, organizational culture, and employee capability building.

Monitor workforce trends, talent risks, and emerging capability needs, translating insights into strategic recommendations for HR and senior leadership.

Establish operational objectives, priorities, and work plans while directing Talent and L&D initiatives to achieve organizational goals and business outcomes.

Analyze talent and learning data, identify organizational challenges, and develop solutions to address complex workforce and capability issues.

Partner with senior executives and business leaders across divisions and customer groups to address strategic talent priorities and strengthen organizational effectiveness.

Oversee learning technology strategy, including LMS platforms, digital learning ecosystems, and emerging AI-powered tools that enhance learning effectiveness, personalization, and scalability.

Establish learning measurement frameworks and dashboards to track participation, capability development, business impact, and return on investment (ROI).

Champion a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and career development while strengthening workforce planning, talent pipelines, and succession strategies.

7+ years of progressive experience in Learning & Development, Talent Management, Organizational Development, or Organizational Design.

Advanced knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, learning technologies, and Learning Management Systems (LMS).

Proven organizational leadership and people management capabilities, including employee development, performance management, coaching, and conflict resolution.

Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills, with demonstrated experience influencing and presenting to senior executives and Boards of Directors.

HR Generalist background or foundational experience across key HR disciplines, providing a broad understanding of employee relations, performance management, talent management, workforce planning, and organizational practices.

Proven ability to lead global or multi-regional L&D initiatives.

Advanced proficiency in digital learning tools and emerging technologies.

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, or related field required.

Master’s degree in Organizational Development, HR, or related discipline preferred.

Certifications in Learning & Development, Talent Management, or Instructional Design (e.g., Ongoing professional development in leadership and learning technologies is desirable.
