RN L&D Emergency Room (ER)

Registered Nurse – Emergency Room
Schedule: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Assignment Details:

Contract Length: 8 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 48 per week
Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred
Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification: Required
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: Required
AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification: Required
AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS certification: Required
At least two years recent experience in the field: Required
Experience with EPIC and Cerner: Required
Roles & Responsibilities:

Deliver coordinated nursing care for patients according to established standards and nursing processes.
Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff.
Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to provide safe and effective patient care.
Collect and analyze patient health data to determine care issues.
Develop and implement care plans tailored to patient needs and evaluate the progress toward achieving outcomes.
Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
