Experience: Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required, including at least 1 year of in-specialty experience.

Active RN license required; Description: The unit is a 37-bed facility with a diverse adult patient population. Every bed is equipped for monitoring patients with varying degrees of illness, from uncomplicated to sub-critical conditions. The patient population includes post-operative transplant patients and any adult patients requiring cardiac monitoring. The RN will work night shifts, with a schedule that includes weekdays and every other weekend. Options for 36 hours or 48 hours per week are available, based on RN preference. Patient ratios are 1 nurse to 5 patients. The facility has a supportive interdisciplinary team, including IV teams. The patient diagnoses include but are not limited to cardiac issues, COPD, chest pain, diabetes, neuro overflow, ortho overflow, and post-surgical care. Skills in central line draws, chest tube management, and administering medications such as cardizem, nitro, amnio, and heparin are necessary. Familiarity with telemetry and monitoring technology is also required. New travelers are welcome, and the facility is open to accommodating scheduling requests if possible. This position requires flexibility to float within the facility's needs. All personnel must comply with vaccination requirements. Flu vaccination is mandatory unless a medical exemption is provided. COVID-19 vaccination is not required.
