Must-Have:

• Experience with typical MedSurg population including chest pain, COPD, pneumonia, UTI, and abdominal pain.
• Ability to read telemetry strips and work with continuous monitoring.
• Proficiency in titrating drips.

Description:
The unit has a total of 32 beds, divided between Stepdown and Floor patients.
Patient-to-nurse ratios are 1:3 for Stepdown and 1:4-6 for Floor.
Registered Nurses are expected to manage a variety of patient care needs, including overflow from most services.
The unit serves patients in critical condition requiring more intensive monitoring.
Registered Nurses will be required to work two weekends each schedule and incorporate holidays as needed.
Staff are supported by a charge nurse and house supervisor, ensuring additional resources are available.
The dress code for the unit is royal blue scrubs.
The charting system in use is Epic.
All candidates must demonstrate a commitment to patient care and teamwork in a dynamic environment.
