Job Description Human Resources Generalist
Within the framework of our policies and procedures, the Human Resources Generalist is responsible for providing professional-level human resources support in multiple functional areas including recruiting, employee relations, training, policy development, compliance, and HR systems administration.

Serve as a primary HR contact for employees and supervisors by providing guidance on policies, procedures, and employee relations matters.
Conduct full-cycle recruitment activities including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and coordination of onboarding and orientation.
Support the Director of HR in administering and communicating company policies and programs to ensure consistency and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Provide HR support to both Seyer-St. Peters and Seyer-Cuba locations, including maintaining consistent communication and coordination between sites.
Administer and maintain HR systems, including employee records, HR Actions, and workflow processes in UKG.
Lead and support HR initiatives that enhance process efficiency, such as paperless workflows and electronic documentation.
Serve as an active member of the Social Media and Marketing Team to promote employment opportunities, strengthen employer branding, and support recruitment initiatives.
Provide coaching and guidance to supervisors regarding performance management, corrective actions, and development opportunities.
Conduct and document internal investigations as assigned, maintaining confidentiality and fairness.
Assist with the creation, review, and revision of policies and procedures to support compliance and continuous improvement.
Analyze HR metrics and provide meaningful reports and insights to the HR Director and leadership team.
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, including FMLA, ADA, EEO, and wage and hour laws.
Contribute to HR strategic planning efforts and identify opportunities to strengthen HR’s role in business success.
Answer employee questions regarding company policies, benefits, and procedures.
Process all new hire paperwork.
Conform to all requirements of Seyer Industries Quality System and any and all customer invoked quality requirements (AS-9100, for example).
Minimum of 3–5 years of professional-level HR experience; Strong knowledge of employment law, HR best practices, and regulatory compliance.
Proficient in HRIS systems (UKG preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Demonstrated initiative and ability to identify process improvements and implement solutions.
