Licensed Practical Nurse - Night Shift - Health Care

Job Summary

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at GSS NE Albion, Albion, NE.

Full‑time night shift, 12 hours per shift, 40 hours per week.

Hourly pay range $24–$36 with a $10,000 sign‑on bonus.

Provide professional nursing care for residents of all ages under the supervision of an RN, advanced practice provider, or physician.

Responsibilities & Duties

Ensure residents' health, comfort, and safety.

Contribute to resident assessment and administer medications or treatments as ordered.

Provide technical support to healthcare professionals as needed.

Document resident interactions and related outcomes (care, medication, behavior, activity, dietary).

Establish and maintain effective working relationships with residents, healthcare providers, and the public.

Communicate clearly and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

Counsel residents, families, or resident advocates on prevention and treatment plans under RN or provider direction.

Develop self‑care programs based on resident education principles.

Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse; associate degree preferred.

For IV therapy/management roles, graduation from a Board‑approved AASPN program with IV therapy in curriculum or completion of an approved IV therapy course.

Attendance of a pre‑licensure nursing program with supervised clinical experience across the lifespan or at least 400 hours of experience as an LPN at another facility.

Current unencumbered LPN license with the state nursing board and/or multi‑state licensure privileges.

Maintenance of required department competencies, certifications, annual continuing education units (CEU), and competency training.
