Under the general direction of the CHHS Dean, the Executive Assistant provides coordination and support for the work of the Dean. The incumbent is expected to have a thorough knowledge of the college, the university and its organization, and all policies and procedures.

Provide high-level executive administrative support to the Dean of the College of Health and Human Services.

Oversee the administrative tasks and customer service for the CHHS Dean's Office front desk.

Faculty Support and Administration: Prepares and collects faculty Assigned Time and Additional Employment request forms and obtains final certifications from faculty for work accomplished on all AE/AT being initiated, funded, or requested by the Dean or CHHS Administration.

This is a temporary position for one year with no permanent status granted. Temporary assignments may expire prior to the ending date.

Executive Assistant

Salary placement is determined by the education, experience, and qualifications the candidate brings to the position, internal equity, and the hiring department's fiscal resources. Hiring Range: The hiring range for this position is $4,799 (Step #1) - $5,850 (Step #11) per month commensurate with candidate's education, experience, skills, and training.

Paid Time Off: Up to 24 vacation days per year (based on employee group and/or length of service), 14 paid holidays, and 12 sick days annually with unlimited accrual.

Possess strong organizational and communication skills to communicate effectively with ethnically and culturally diverse faculty, staff, students, and the general public. Thorough, detailed knowledge of applicable university infrastructure, policies, and procedures. Have a thorough knowledge of English grammar, spelling, and punctuation and be able to clearly communicate orally and in writing. Expertise in using office software packages, technology, and systems. Ability to communicate with an ethnically and culturally diverse campus community. Ability to follow all university policies, procedures, and guidelines including but not limited to safety, civility, information security, and non-discrimination policies and procedures. Ability to contribute to a positive university experience for each and every student and assist in achieving the university's commitment to a "vision of excellence."

Equivalent to a bachelor's degree in a related field required.
