Travel Nurse Home Health RN Day Shift Job

Registered Nurse - Short Stay travel assignment in San Luis Obispo, California. Guaranteed hours 48 per week with a 3x12-hour day shift schedule. Work in a short-term acute care setting providing pre- and post-operative/procedural care across patient populations from infant to geriatric. Weekly pay: $1,949-$2,082 per week

Contract duration: Shift: 3x12-hour day shifts

Short-term acute care hospital, travel assignment

Fast credentialing/onboarding and EPIC backfill support

Provide pre- and post-operative/procedure nursing care for infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients with diverse health care needs

Monitor patient conditions, interpret ECG rhythms, recognize distress, and respond appropriately in emergencies

Deliver targeted education to patients and families before discharge and coordinate discharge planning as part of the care plan

Apply clinical knowledge to post-anesthesia and post-procedure recovery, including assessment, documentation, and collaboration with the care team

Administer medications and manage equipment appropriate to the perioperative and recovery period

Document care in the designated electronic health record (EPIC) and adhere to hospital policies and chain of command

Active registered nurse license in the state of practice (California)

Associate Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred

Minimum of two years of recent nursing experience in the field; Epic EMR experience required (current Epic experience)

Guaranteed hours and a structured travel assignment

Epic EMR backfill support and alignment with clinical workflows
