Senior HR Generalist Duties:

Act as a business partner with operations and other plant leadership to understand and positively impact the business.

Drive and facilitate recruitment for all open hourly positions within the facility, including creating and posting positions through onboarding of new hires.

Act as an advisor to all levels of the plant regarding policies, benefits, employment law, and setting expectations for a positive environment and mission-driven culture.

Work closely with the leadership team to ensure active relationship-building and constructively correcting performance.

Support a safety-first culture in the facility, including participation in investigations, corrective actions, and workers’ compensation cases.

Lead projects within the region and organization-wide to support the company and drive continuous improvement in the HR function.

Bilingual in Spanish is required.

Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.

A minimum of five years of experience in a professional-level Human Resources position is required. Experience in HR in a manufacturing environment is highly preferred, particularly with multiple shift operations.

Strong computer skills with experience in Microsoft Office 365.

Self-motivated with a customer service mindset.

Must be able to wear all required PPE and actively interact with co-workers on the production floor and in an office environment.

Occasional travel, primarily local, may be required.

Must be willing to work hours outside of typical day shift schedule when needed.
