Description
Conduct comprehensive evaluations for patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings, crafting tailored treatment strategies.
Implement physical therapy techniques focused on enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and overall function.
Work alongside an array of medical professionals including nurses, physicians, and case managers to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Educate and guide patients and their families on therapy objectives, discharge preparations, and at-home exercises.
Keep meticulous records of evaluations, treatment plans, and patient progress in accordance with facility standards.
Participate in care team meetings and interdisciplinary discussions to ensure a cohesive approach to patient care.
Education
~ Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.

Certifications
Valid state license as a Physical Therapist
Preferred: CPR certification
Additional certifications in specialized areas (e.g., neurological, geriatric) are advantageous but not mandatory.
Skills
Prior experience in physical therapy is highly preferred.
