Human Resources Assistant
HUMAN RESOURCES ASSISTANT
Join Our Team We are a well-established, 100% employee-owned construction company seeking a motivated, organized, and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to join our HR team. This position plays a key role in supporting employees throughout their employment while ensuring HR processes are accurate, timely, and compliant.

- Assist with recruiting, interviewing coordination, and onboarding new employees.
Prepare new hire paperwork and maintain employee personnel files.
Process employment changes, terminations, and HR documentation.
Assist with benefits enrollment and answer employee questions regarding benefits and company policies.
Maintain HRIS and employee records with a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality.
Help maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
Support training, employee recognition, and other HR initiatives.
Provide exceptional customer service to employees, supervisors, and managers.
Perform other administrative and HR duties as assigned.
Proficiency with or ability to quickly learn the company’s HRIS Systems, particularly VISTA is a plus.
Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- 2+ years working in the human resources field.
- Able to work from a computer screen.
