Hourly Research Fellow
$25 per hourVirginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (VT)
The position responsibilities include supporting the BRAVE (Bioaerosol Risk Assessment interVention Engineering) initiative in conducting research in the Sacramento, CA area.
The position requires the candidate to travel between two daycare centers in Sacramento, CA on Monday mornings to change filters and batteries in air samplers. The candidate will then mail the removed filters to a research lab for testing and recharge the batteries. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science (B.or higher degree in a STEM field.
Availability Monday mornings at 7:30 am - 10:30 am (or Tuesday if Monday is a holiday).
Background in aerosol science, including sampling, analysis, and related laboratory methods.
Overtime Status: Non‑Exempt - Eligible for overtime.
Salary Information: $25 per hour.
