The successful candidate will handle matters from initial case evaluation through trial, arbitration, or resolution and will work directly with clients and firm leadership. Our litigation practice includes matters involving: • Commercial and business disputes • Construction litigation • Contract disputes • Real estate litigation • Employment litigation • Insurance-related litigation • Other complex civil litigation mattersResponsibilities• Manage a diverse litigation caseload from inception through resolution. • Develop litigation strategy and provide practical legal advice to clients. • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, dispositive motions, and appellate briefs. • Conduct depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials. • Manage all aspects of discovery, including electronic discovery where appropriate. • Work directly with clients to understand business objectives and provide timely communication. • Collaborate with attorneys across multiple practice groups to deliver comprehensive legal solutions. • Mentor junior attorneys and litigation support staff. • Participate in business development and client relationship initiatives.Qualifications• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school. • Licensed and in good standing with the State Bar of Texas. • 7–10 years of civil litigation experience. • Significant experience in Texas state and/or federal courts. • Excellent legal research, writing, and advocacy skills. • Strong deposition, motion practice, and courtroom experience. • Exceptional organizational and case management abilities. • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment. • Demonstrated commitment to outstanding client service.
