Director Of Fund Development
The Director of Fund Development supports the Vice President of Fund Development in leading, implementing, and managing strategies to grow the organization's fundraising efforts. This role plays a pivotal part in advancing the mission by driving individual giving, securing major gifts, cultivating corporate and community partnerships, and managing donor stewardship programs.
Strategic Fundraising & Planning
- Manage select fundraising initiatives, campaigns, and projects to meet established revenue targets.
- Track and report on fundraising performance metrics, trends, and opportunities.
Grant & Sponsorship Development
- Identify and research new grant and sponsorship opportunities.
- Partner with the VP and development team to write proposals and manage reporting requirements.
- Supervise development interns, and volunteers as assigned.
- Serve as an ambassador for the organization at community events and donor functions.
Strong relationship-building, networking, and interpersonal communication skills.
Strategic mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects.
Excellent writing and presentation abilities.
Bachelor's degree in Nonprofit Management, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Demonstrated success in securing individual, corporate, and foundation gifts.
Experience with donor management systems and fundraising databases.
