Create and implement a comprehensive fundraising program to meet the needs and goals of GPAC; Establish and maintain a donor cultivation cycle and gift stewardship program to ensure that new major donors are developed, have opportunities to increase their level of support annually, and enjoy a close relationship with GPAC.Develop and implement strategies for cultivating and soliciting prospects for financial support in person or in conjunction with committee members and Executive Director.Identify prospects and maintain a list of corporate, foundation, and individual donors; Plan, organize, direct, and evaluate success of special event fundraising programs including assessing the value of the event on meeting financial goals.Research, create, implement, and sustain an active ongoing grant solicitation program.Manage the maintenance of the constituent database including input, donation processing, gift acknowledgments, data extraction and reports and remain proficient on the software.Maximize the Guild relationship and service to support donor/prospect cultivation.Serve as liaison with GPAC Board and attend meetings and report on fundraising activities.Work with Marketing to prepare, develop, and manage promotional and publicity materials and activities as necessary to support all fundraising efforts.Represent GPAC to the public and targeted audiences advocating GPAC's mission and programs.Must be punctual and timely in meeting all job performance requirements, including but not limited to, attendance and tardiness standards and work deadlines.Ability to network and develop key relationships within the community in order to gain the support of various constituencies, including board and staff members, donors, and foundation and civic leaders.Ability to identify, cultivate, and solicit individual donors, corporations, and foundations.Bachelor's degree in related field and five years of professional fundraising experience in a leadership capacity, preferably in a performing arts organization; or any combination of education, training, and experience providing the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform essential job functions. Proven track record of success in key fundraising areas including corporate, foundation and individual giving, major gifts, special events, and capital campaigns.The majority of work takes place in a clean, pleasant, and comfortable office setting. Work hours can be irregular, requiring nights and weekends.
