Phlebotomist - Laboratory - Casual

Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
Perform data entry of patient information accurately and within timely deadlines.
Process billing information and collect payments.
Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis.
Provide superior customer service to all patients.
Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
Travel to additional sites when needed.
Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
Phlebotomy certification or completion of a certified training program.
Three (3) months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
Preferred Qualifications Six (6) months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
Additional Job Standards Phlebotomy certification or training program must come from an accredited agency.
Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
Comfortable working under minimal supervision.
Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
Phlebotomists may be eligible for the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.
