Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Pay: $22.00 – $25.00/hour
We are seeking a detail-focused Accounting Specialist to support the financial operations of a growing organization. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on accounting work in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.

Position Overview
This role is responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting functions, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting with reporting and analysis. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and comfortable working across multiple accounting areas while ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
Accounting Operations
Manage full-cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
Record, categorize, and reconcile financial transactions
Assist with payroll processing and provide backup support as needed
Maintain accurate and organized financial records
Financial Reporting & Analysis
Assist with preparation of monthly financial statements and reports
Support budget tracking and updates
Review financial data for accuracy and compliance
Assist with reporting and financial analysis as needed
Systems & Data Management
Maintain and update accounting systems (QuickBooks experience required)
Perform data entry, integrity checks, and system updates
Manage chart of accounts and financial records
Generate financial reports as needed
Compliance & Coordination
Assist with collections and external account coordination when needed
Support financial tracking and account management
Provide reporting support to leadership and stakeholders
Customer & Team Support
Respond to accounting inquiries in a professional manner
Collaborate with internal teams to support daily operations
Assist with onboarding or training support when needed
Identify opportunities for process improvement

Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounting experience
• Strong proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
• Experience with full-cycle accounting including AP/AR and reconciliations
• Payroll experience is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
