Paralegal – Antitrust, Competition & Economic Regulation (ACER)

We are seeking an experienced Paralegal to join our Antitrust, Competition & Economic Regulation (ACER) practice, where you will work alongside some of the industry's most respected attorneys on high-profile antitrust investigations, complex litigation, regulatory matters, and strategic transactions.

This is an exciting opportunity to become an integral member of a collaborative, high-performing team that advises multinational clients on sophisticated legal matters across jurisdictions. You will gain hands‑on exposure to significant antitrust litigation, government investigations, merger reviews, and Hart‑Scott‑Rodino (HSR) filings, while partnering with attorneys and professionals across our global platform.

As a key member of the ACER team, you will provide substantive support throughout all phases of antitrust investigations and litigation—from initial case strategy and discovery through hearings, trial, and final resolution.

Manage and oversee document collection, review, organization, and production for complex matters.

Support attorneys in antitrust investigations, litigation, regulatory proceedings, and merger review matters.

Serve as a subject matter resource in the preparation and coordination of Hart‑Scott‑Rodino (HSR) premerger notification filings with the Federal Trade Commission and Department of Justice.

Draft client information requests, prepare HSR forms, manage supporting documentation, and coordinate filing submissions.

Maintain case pleadings, correspondence, discovery materials, research files, and work product databases.

Conduct legal and factual research and prepare concise memoranda summarizing findings.

Cite‑check, proofread, and edit briefs, motions, correspondence, and other legal documents.

Organize and prepare exhibit lists, privilege logs, deposition materials, and trial binders.

Assist with trial preparation, trial site logistics, and attend hearings and trials as needed.

Coordinate with outside vendors and litigation support providers while ensuring adherence to critical deadlines.

Maintain databases of client advisories, transcripts, and matter‑related documents.

Mentor and support junior paralegals and contribute to team development initiatives.

Participate in the firm's global Responsible Business initiatives and other projects as assigned.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.

Bachelor’s degree required, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

Paralegal certificate preferred.

Four (4) to six (6) years of paralegal experience, ideally supporting litigation, antitrust, regulatory, or complex commercial matters.

Core hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. This range reflects a good‑faith estimate of pay at the time of posting; This position is eligible for additional forms of compensation, which may include annual discretionary bonuses.
