Registered Nurse – Oncology
Weekly pay: $2,107.00 - $2,161.00 per week
Shift: 3x12 Rotating (day or night)
Short Term Acute Care Hospital, Med/Surg unit
Weekly pay: $2,107.00 - $2,161.00 per week

• Contract length: 23 weeks with extension through holidays
• Schedule: Full-time 3x12 rotating shifts (36 hours per week)
• On-call: 2 on-call shifts in a 4-week cycle
• Setting: Med/Surg patient care with oncology focus in a short-term acute care environment

Deliver direct nursing care to adult, adolescent, and geriatric patients with medical conditions, including oncology-related needs, in a medical/surgical setting

• Assess patient needs, develop an individualized plan of care, implement treatments, and evaluate patient progress in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
• Administer medications, monitor responses, and document care in the electronic health record
• Educate patients and families on self-care, symptom management, discharge planning, and follow-up care
• Coordinate with physicians, therapists, and other team members to ensure safe, timely, and evidence-based care
• Maintain infection prevention practices and patient safety, recognizing and responding to changes in patient condition
• Foster a healing environment through compassionate communication and emotional support for patients and families

NYS Registered Nurse Licensure (active)

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience in a Med/Surg setting
• Ability to work a 3x12 rotating schedule, including day and night shifts

Weekly pay range: $23-week contract with extension opportunities through holidays

• On-call shifts: two shifts in a 4-week cycle
