Paralegal/Billing

We are seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal with a minimum of 5+ years of hands-on litigation experience to support a fast-paced practice. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, proactive, and capable of independently managing cases from inception through resolution.

Key Responsibilities: Draft pleadings, including complaints, motions, and discovery requests/responses

Manage and organize high volumes of legal documentation

Prepare and respond to discovery requests

Conduct background reviews and case file analysis

Maintain and manage attorney calendars, deadlines, and court filings

Assist with case strategy by anticipating next steps in the litigation process

Accurately track and bill time, crafting clear and defensible narratives to support billable work

Qualifications: 5+ years of litigation experience (defense-side strongly preferred)

Strong understanding of billing practices and the ability to draft detailed time-entry narratives

Experience in personal injury litigation (defense-oriented experience preferred)

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with attorneys and team members

Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple active cases simultaneously

Not a Fit If: Candidates with primary experience in plaintiff-side work, family law, real estate law, or employment law will not be considered for this role.
