Associate Litigation Attorney - Full Time Position

Downtown Seattle, WA (On-Site, 5 Days/Week)

Salary: $150,000-$180,000 base salary (DOE) + performance bonuses

About the Role Our client is seeking an experienced Associate Attorney to independently manage a civil litigation caseload from inception through settlement or trial. This is an ideal opportunity for a litigation attorney who enjoys taking ownership of cases, appearing in court, and working closely with clients in a collaborative, in-person environment.

You'll have the autonomy to lead your own matters while receiving support from experienced attorneys and paralegals. Unlike larger firms where associates spend years supporting partners, you'll immediately take a hands-on role managing litigation from start to finish.

What You'll Do Independently manage a full caseload of civil litigation matters from intake through resolution or trial

Handle cases involving employment law, school law, and general civil litigation

Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, and other litigation documents

Serve as first or second chair at bench and jury trials

Develop litigation strategy in partnership with clients and colleagues

Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to deliver exceptional client service

D. from an accredited law school

6+ years of civil litigation experience

Ability to independently manage cases from initiation through trial with minimal supervision

Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills

Preferred Experience in employment law, school law, insurance defense, or general civil litigation

Proven ability to develop litigation strategy and advise clients throughout the litigation process
