Bilingual Front Desk Receptionist - Full-Time

Receptionist 1The Receptionist 1 is responsible for the front desk operations of a healthcare facility. The Receptionist 1 ensures a smooth and welcoming experience for patients and supports the medical team with various administrative tasks. The Receptionist 1 is responsible for welcoming patients and offering administrative support within a physician practice or center. Greeting Patients: Welcome patients and visitors professionally, both in person and over the phone.Manage appointment calendars, schedule patient visits, and coordinate with medical staff to optimize schedules.Works in Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.Billing and Payments: Ensure patient accounts are updated correctly. Office Management: Ensure the reception area is tidy, sanitized, and well-stocked with necessary materials.Administrative Support: Assist with other administrative tasks as needed, such as ordering supplies, managing office inventory, and sending courier packages.Decisions are limited to defined parameters around work expectations, quality standards, priorities and timing, and works under close supervision and/or within established policies/practices and guidelines with minimal opportunity for deviation.Required QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED1 year or more of experience working in a Healthcare setting preferred, but will consider candidates with a strong Customer Service background in Retail Hospitality, Call Centers, etc.Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving patient experiences and careExcellent customer service and phone etiquetteTeam player with a positive attitudeAbility to multitask in a fast-paced environmentAttention to detail and highly organizedKnowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access)Bilingual in English and Spanish Preferred Qualifications:Value-based care model experienceKnowledge of Medical TerminologyExperience with EMR Systems (Electronic Medical Records)Additional Information: This role is considered patient-facing and is part of the company's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program.
