HUMAN RESOURCES ASSISTANT | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION:
Richmond Virginia 23227 – 100% on-site
Payrate: $21.26/hr
Full-Time | Monday - Friday
HUMAN RESOURCES ASSISTANT | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS:
The Human Resources Assistant will support an HR team with pre-hire and onboarding activities for employees across multiple home health locations. This position will provide administrative support throughout the hiring and onboarding process, ensuring required documentation, screenings, and communications are completed accurately and on time.
This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

HUMAN RESOURCES ASSISTANT | RESPONSIBILITIES:


Assist with pre-employment and onboarding processes for new hires across multiple locations.
I-9 forms, Offer letters, Sign-on bonus documentation, Other onboarding paperwork
Prepare reports and correspondence regarding pre-hire and onboarding status.
Identify and escalate onboarding issues to the appropriate HR team members.
Communicate with new employees and office staff regarding Day 1 requirements and onboarding activities.
Register new hires for orientation and coordinate related communications.
Provide general administrative support to the Human Resources department.
Perform other HR-related duties as assigned.

HUMAN RESOURCES ASSISTANT | REQUIREMENTS :


Education: High School Diploma or GED (verifiable)
Previous experience in Human Resources, recruiting, onboarding, staffing, or a related administrative role required.
Ability to handle confidential employee information professionally.
Comfortable working with computer systems and electronic documentation.
Experience with background checks, I-9 processes, onboarding, or healthcare credentialing is a plus.
