Description

Conduct evaluations for patients across both inpatient and outpatient settings and craft personalized treatment plans
Deliver physical therapy interventions that emphasize mobility, strength, balance, and overall function
Work closely with nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation experts to maximize patient outcomes
Instruct patients and their families on therapeutic objectives, discharge strategies, and home exercise programs
Maintain thorough documentation of evaluations, treatments, and patient progress per facility and regulatory standards
Engage in interdisciplinary team rounds and discussions to ensure cohesive care delivery
Education

~ Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent qualification from an accredited institution

Certifications

State licensure as a Physical Therapist
CPR certification preferred
Additional specialized certifications (such as neurological or geriatric) are advantageous but not mandatory
Skills

Previous experience in a clinical setting is strongly preferred
