Intensive Care\n Unit (ICU) with Med Surg Floating required. Brief Unit Description: 20-bed (MICU) Medical/Surgical\n ICU. We care for a wide range of adult patients with diagnosis such as Substance\n Abuse/Overdose, severe Psychiatric conditions, DKA, Sepsis, GI bleed,\n Respiratory Failure, Cardiac Arrest, Renal Failure, and Cardiogenic\n Shock. Attendings and Residents are present in the ICU 24 hours/day. Salem\n Hospital is a 400+ bed complex community facility that has 220 Med Surg beds\n plus the ICU, Maternity, etc. Years of Experience Required: 2+ years of Adult ICU\n experience required. 2+ years of continuous work experience in one location,\n preferably a MICU. Floating Required: Yes, (mostly Medical/Surgical Units,\n could be up to 4 or 5 patients). Telemetry competency required. Rotating Shifts Required: All Day positions\n are Day Rotate. Day rotators may be rotated between (7a-7p, 11a-11p or 7p-7a)\n shifts when needed. Night shift does not rotate. RN to Patient Ratio: 1:2 or 1:1 with high acuity; EMR (Charting System): EPIC.
