WelderWelder Business Unit: Huncilman Location: New Albany, IN Reports To: Fabrication CoordinatorWelders a wide variety of metal and steel structures from oral directions, sketches, or drawings. Must be able to inspect own finished welds to meet company standards.Our ideal candidate will:Fabricate and weld a wide variety of metal and steel structuresRead fabrication drawings, work orders, and complete standard recordsAccurately and effectively load shipments for deliveryComplete all reports and forms for service operations in a timely and accurate mannerEnsure manager is aware of any issues which can impact customer satisfaction or billingMaintain good condition and cleanliness of company vehicles, tools, and equipment, including the return of tools to storage areasAdhere to and promote all company values through leading by example and creating an environment of trust and teamworkParticipate in all requested job-related training and development, as well as take an active interest in improving skills with other training programsFollow all company and common sense safety policies, while using all required personal protective equipmentContribute to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as neededDesired Qualifications:Certified Welders preferred, but not requiredWelding experience (Arc, Tig, Mig) requiredAbility to operate vehicles and equipment used in service shops (fork-lifts, gradall, hydraulic lifts, etc)Ability to lift 50 pounds as required without assistanceStrong interpersonal skills and ability to maintain professionalism in the workplaceStrong organizational skills
