Description - Key Responsibilities

Conduct both standard and advanced laboratory tests across various areas such as chemistry, hematology, and immunology, adhering strictly to established protocols.
Evaluate test results for accuracy, troubleshoot discrepancies, and ensure lab instruments undergo preventative maintenance and proper calibration.
Assist in the collection of specimens and the preparation of samples for a range of tests as required.
Keep comprehensive documentation of all procedures, mentor new staff or interns, and consistently maintain high-quality lab standards.
Uphold a clean, secure laboratory environment while meeting all regulatory and accreditation requirements.
Education
~ Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a comparable allied health degree, in addition to ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications
ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within one year of hire.
Maintain active certification throughout your employment.
