Shift Front Desk Receptionist

Westside Care Center is seeking a per diem Receptionist. Shift & Hours: As needed basis.
Summary: The primary role of the Receptionist is to assist the facility by welcoming residents, family members and staff into the building, answering questions and directing guests to appropriate areas within the building.
Responsibilities: Checking in guests as they enter the building and providing answers to in-person and phone inquiries.
Perform all assigned tasks in accordance with the facility’s established policies and procedures and as instructed by the Business Office Manager, Administrator and Director of Nursing.
Answering incoming phone calls and transferring calls to the appropriate staff members.
Interacting with residents in the building as the come through the reception area and providing support as needed.
Qualifications: Prefer a minimum of 1 year in a healthcare facility, preferably as a receptionist or other closely related position
Must have a good understanding of computer use; Word, Excel and Outlook, printing and scanning documents (PDF, JPEG, etc.)
Experience in rehabilitation or behavioral health is a plus
Proficiency in English, including speaking, reading, and writing, required.
