Electrical Assistant Project Manager

Electrical Assistant Project Manager – Dallas, Texas Christman Facility Solutions is seeking an Electrical Assistant Project Manager to support Project Manager and Superintendent in managing construction activities. Responsibilities Produce and organize project documents consistent with company and risk management standards. Prepare project documents for close‑out, turnover, and archiving to ensure timely delivery. Secure all contractually required documents (e.g., safety programs, MSDS, insurance policies, supplier documents) prior to project commencement. Process close‑out of all subcontracts as work concludes. Administer project billing in accordance with contractual requirements, including timely receipt of waivers. Assist the Project Manager in reviewing/approving trade contractor material and supplier invoices for accounting. Summarize discussions, questions, and decisions from project meetings. Identify and list incomplete work items based on contract document comparison. Manage punch list, partnering with client and architect to establish contents. Manage the project change process from start to finish. Assist with inspection planning: identify required inspections, create specific logs, establish inspector relationships, schedule inspections, and ensure readiness. Manage the RFI process, ensuring timely flow of information to all parties. Organize and prioritize submittal requirements, review for completeness, and create submittal logs. Review shop drawings and samples for compliance; manage architect submittal review process. Monitor quality of work and compliance with construction documents as assigned by the Superintendent. Travel Requirements Reliable transportation is required. Travel to and from the construction site will be necessary; most travel will be local, but long‑distance or overnight travel may occur. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related coursework. Three (3) or more years of experience in construction or a related field. Basic computer skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
