Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a rewarding summer contract role as an Intervention Specialist working with elementary students in a supportive ESY (Extended School Year) program. Located conveniently near Lakewood, OH, this opportunity will have you making a meaningful impact while maintaining work-life balance. The position runs from July 6 through August 6, Monday to Thursday, with no Fridays required. Enjoy a manageable daily schedule from 8:30am to 1:15pm, totaling approximately 19 hours per week, and earn between $34-$40 per hour.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teacher or Intervention Specialist license/certification in Ohio
• Experience working with elementary-aged students
• Familiarity with IEP implementation and data-driven instruction
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt instructional methods to meet diverse learner needs
• Prior ESY or summer school experience is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver targeted instruction and support to elementary students with identified needs
• Implement IEP goals, monitor student progress, and maintain accurate documentation
• Collaborate with fellow educators, therapists, and families to support student success
• Foster an inclusive and positive classroom environment
