In this role, your teaching environment will consist of one classroom specializing in working with students with multiple disabilities (MD)—including autism, non-verbal communication, and physical impairments—with 9-12 students. You will also lead a group of 10-15 students with emotional disabilities (ED), focusing on implementing behavior intervention plans (BIPs), social-emotional instruction, and effective crisis intervention strategies.

This is a full-time position, with a weekly commitment of 37.5 hours, starting on August 24, 2026, and continuing through June 7, 2027.

What you'll need to succeed:

• Active Special Education Teaching license
• Experience or strong interest in working with MD and ED student populations
• Comprehensive knowledge of individualized education plans (IEPs), BIPs, and crisis management
• Flexibility, patience, and resourcefulness in a dynamic school setting
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Dedication to empowering students with diverse learning needs
