This position is remote, allowing for flexibility while you provide outpatient care from the comfort of your home office or designated space. You will connect with patients through virtual sessions, ensuring that they receive the support they need without the barriers of in-person visits. Our regular working hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, promoting a healthy work-life balance for our staff.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial evaluations to assess patient needs, listening actively to their concerns and diagnosing mental health disorders.

• Collaborate closely with patients to develop comprehensive, individualized treatment plans that incorporate effective coping strategies.

• Regularly monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary to reflect changes in their condition or response to therapy.

• Educate both patients and staff about effective stress and trauma coping mechanisms, empowering them with practical tools for resilience.

• Facilitate referrals and coordination with social services, healthcare providers, and community support programs to ensure comprehensive care.

• Maintain compliance with continuing education requirements to uphold your National Certified Counselor certification and to enhance your professional knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our primary client focus is on individuals who have experienced trauma, which can stem from a variety of sources including physical injury, emotional upheaval, or situational stressors. As a counselor in our organization, you will work predominantly with this vulnerable population, applying therapeutic techniques aimed at improving their mental health and guiding them towards resilience and personal growth.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field.

• A valid Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) credential.

• At least three years of direct counseling experience with trauma patients.

Compensation and Benefits\n
