This role is primarily remote, allowing you to connect with clients through secure telehealth platforms. However, you will also have the opportunity to work in our outpatient office in Salinas, where you can engage in face-to-face sessions if desired. Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your primary duties will include:

• Conducting assessments to determine clients' mental health status and needs.

• Developing individualized treatment plans targeting specific therapeutic goals and outcomes.

• Offering regular therapy sessions, utilizing techniques tailored to each client's unique background and challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients who present various mental health challenges. This includes adolescents and adults facing issues related to mood disorders, anxiety disorders, substance use disorders, and eating disorders. Your approach should be culturally responsive and inclusive, enhancing the overall therapeutic experience for clients from different backgrounds.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid state license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW.
\n
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a related field.

• A solid understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment methods.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to foster rapport with a broad spectrum of clients.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and general computer applications.

Preferred Experience\n

Preferred candidates will have experience delivering both individual and group therapy, particularly in culturally responsive practices. Strong crisis intervention skills, with the ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations, are also highly valued. Additionally, familiarity with telehealth technologies will be beneficial as our practice continues to evolve.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Solace Haven Counseling offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 to $140,000 per year, commensurate with experience. We additionally provide a sign-on bonus of $3,000. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
