This full-time position is primarily onsite in a home care setting. Key Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate the physical condition of each patient in their home, creating a tailored treatment plan based on their individual needs and clinical goals.
• Utilize various therapeutic methodologies such as manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and specialized equipment to enhance patient mobility and alleviate pain.
• Document treatment sessions, track progress, and adapt therapy plans to meet evolving patient needs effectively.
• Conduct follow-up assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of treatments, updating therapeutic goals and strategies accordingly.
• Educate patients, caregivers, and family members on physical therapy practices and the use of assistive devices as necessary.
• Engage in continuous professional development by attending workshops, collaborating with peers, and staying updated on best practices in physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) and a valid state license to practice physical therapy in Virginia.

Preferred Experience
