Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate client needs and establish individualized therapy plans tailored to their specific challenges.

• Facilitate engaging therapy sessions for individuals, couples, and families using evidence-based therapeutic techniques.

• Assist clients in identifying and achieving their therapeutic objectives, using goal-setting strategies to track progress.

• Ensure strict confidentiality and maintain accurate, up-to-date client documentation through our secure electronic record-keeping system.

• Participate in continuing education and professional training to enhance clinical skills and stay current with best practices in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your client caseload will consist of a diverse population, including individuals and families facing various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. You will build rapport and trust with clients, enabling effective therapeutic work that not only addresses their immediate concerns but also fosters resilience and long-term well-being.

Qualifications\n

• An accredited Master’s degree in Counseling or a related field.
\n
• Active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) in the State of Vermont.
\n
• Demonstrated proficiency in working with a wide range of clients and presenting issues, showing sensitivity to diverse backgrounds and experiences.

• Familiarity with evidence-based treatment approaches, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and trauma-informed care.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, along with the ability to develop strong therapeutic relationships.

• A proactive and self-motivated work ethic, capable of performing effectively both independently and as part of a supportive team.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of direct experience in mental health counseling, particularly in a telehealth or remote setting.

• Proven ability to utilize technology effectively in delivering care and maintaining counseling records.
