Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to evaluate the clients' substance abuse history and co-occurring mental health disorders.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address both addiction and any underlying psychological issues.

• Facilitate one-on-one and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing.

• Maintain an organized schedule to ensure timely and effective follow-ups with clients to promote accountability in their recovery process.
\n
• Partner closely with a diverse team of healthcare professionals to provide integrated care, sharing progress notes and collaborating on treatment modifications as necessary.

• Educate clients' families about the impact of addiction and the recovery process, encouraging their involvement and support.

• Document all client interactions and treatment updates in compliance with state regulations and organizational standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse demographic of clients, including adults who are grappling with substance use disorders and accompanying mental health challenges. Our clients often come from various socio-economic backgrounds and possess different levels of readiness for change, creating a dynamic therapeutic environment that requires adaptability and understanding.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and active license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required; a Master’s or doctoral degree is preferred.

• Proficiency in addiction counseling with a focus on evidence-based methodologies.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in a clinical or community health setting, working with individuals dealing with substance abuse.

Compensation and Benefits\n
