Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to evaluate clients' substance use history, mental health background, and individual treatment needs.

• Design and implement personalized treatment plans that address not only substance abuse but also any co-occurring mental health disorders.

• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions employing evidence-based modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing (MI).

• Engage in regular collaboration with other health professionals such as physicians, nurses, and case managers to maintain a cohesive approach to client care.

• Offer educational sessions and support for family members of clients, encouraging their active involvement in the recovery journey.

• Ensure compliance with all ethical and regulatory guidelines by maintaining accurate and confidential documentation of client interactions and treatment plans.

Qualifications\n

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A master's degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a pertinent field.

• Demonstrated understanding of addiction counseling principles and substance use treatment methodologies.

• Exceptional therapeutic and counseling skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships and inspire clients throughout their recovery journeys.
