Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to evaluate clients' substance use patterns, mental health status, and specific treatment needs.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address substance addiction alongside any co-occurring mental health disorders.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based practices such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing (MI) to encourage engagement and progress.

• Collaborate effectively with diverse members of the treatment team, including physicians, nurses, and case managers, to ensure cohesive and holistic care for clients.

• Provide education and emotional support to clients' families, helping them understand the recovery process and encouraging their involvement.

Qualifications\n

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A master’s degree or doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.

• Specialized training or hands-on experience in addiction counseling and substance abuse treatment methodologies.

• Exceptional therapeutic and counseling skills, capable of establishing a trusting rapport with clients and motivating them throughout their recovery journey.
